The Bijan Ghaisar Foundation was formed as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization to honor Bijan Ghaisar. (EIN: 83-1111222)

 

Our Mission

The main mission for the past, present, and future of the Organization is to help end police brutality and engage in other benevolent acts helping the victims of gun violence.

PAST

The Foundation has collected contributions and donated to other not-for-profit organizations that rally for the victims of gun violence.

PRESENT

The Organization is actively promoting its organization and educating the public on the prevention of all forms of gun violence.

FUTURE

The Organization hopes to expand and reach more and more individuals and organizations in the defense of victims of gun violence, police brutality, racial profiling and use of force. All net proceeds from the civil suit will be dedicated to the Organization and its mission.

What We've Achieved

  • Raising awareness for the epidemic of police brutality and excessive use of force in the United States.

  • Pushing for reforms for body worn and dash cameras by federal police. A bill has been presented in the United States Congress.

  • Pursuing justice for Bijan.

  • Supporting other charitable organizations focused on criminal justice reform and equality, including Mothers Against Police Brutality and Avalan Institute.
